Outside in April Finale

After three sessions of 90 minutes to 2 hours the view upstream on the creek is finished. Sometimes you have to simply stop. This was a great learning experience, and so has each outdoor session been. Tomorrow I'll start another outdoor work, maybe here along the creek or maybe over at Gray's Lake, where the parking lots are closed but you can still walk or cycle into the park. Either way, there is always more to see, more to think on and more to learn outdoors.

The great thing about these serial works is the record they make of the subject. That is, if you go back and look at the earlier works this month using this same view, it's obvious how quickly the undergrowth grows and covers the floor of the woods. Monet had the right idea.
